Perfect from the food, the banquet room and to the staff!
I just wanted to take some time and express my thanks for a beautiful event at the Nassau Inn, Palmer room on Saturday, May 18. Thank you so very much for all your assistance in setting up my daughter's bridal shower. Everything was perfect. The food was delicious! The banana foster station was a nice touch and everyone really enjoyed the dessert, as well as the chef that created this awesome treat. I met so many wonderful folks from the Nassau Inn that day, I apologize, but I don't remember everyone's name.
All of the staff at the Nassau Inn that assisted with this event and that I encountered throughout the day, were very nice and accommodating. Again, I don't remember everyone's names, but Jean Claude, was very helpful in bringing all the "stuff" upstairs and then again taking all the stuff downstairs to our cars at the end of the event. Christine was so pleasant and helpful with any requests throughout our event. The servers were also very pleasant and accommodating of any extra requests. Our bartender was awesome!
The hotel is gorgeous! Our banquet room was arranged so beautifully and we enjoyed the lounge as well as the patio immediately outside of the lounge area.
Please express my many thanks to all the folks that helped make this event the success that it was. It was a lovely day and a beautiful shower that my daughter, Kara enjoyed very much, thanks to all of you!

Part of the family!
Just wanted to express our gratitude & appreciation for Melissa Dill, Christine Guerrero & the team that supported our recent baby shower event on Nov 10th 2018!!! From the 1st day we met Melissa we were so impressed with her friendly, courteous & professional knowledge of the Nassau Inn & of the Banquet industry. She was very accommodating with our brunch menu to meet our special Dietary needs & was at our event ensuring everything went smoothly. She is now part of our extended family!! We met Christine on the day of the event & she too was very friendly & accommodating to all of our requests. The service of the staff was great too & were very efficient!!
In summary, the Venue, food, & service were outstanding & we will definitely recommend this venue to our friends & family for any future events!!

A night of perfection!
We can't say enough positive things about the Nassau Inn. First and foremost our coordinator Melissa is fantastic at what she does. She is professional, organized and detail oriented. Everything we ever mentioned throughout the planning process was noted and the entire evening was perfection. She ensured we were taken care of every step of the way. She responded to emails in lightning time and was there the day of to make sure the day went without issue. The service was impeccable, we did not go more than 5 minutes without the staff asking if we were comfortable, needed a refill etc. We truly felt so special on our big day. The food is incredible and we received so many compliments from our guests. The food you receive at your tasting is the exact food that is delivered at the reception. Our reception and cocktail hour were more than we could have ever dreamed of thanks to the incredible staff at Nassau Inn. The venue itself is just beautiful and the location is perfect, especially for out of town guests to explore downtown Princeton. Every single staff member from the front desk to the waiters were professional and congratulated us. We can't say enough about the Nassau Inn, book them for your event and you will not be disappointed.
Inn filled with class and charm!
My husband and I cannot thank the team at Nassau Inn enough for the beautiful wedding we had! We knew we wanted to get married in Princeton, and Nassau Inn’s location was perfect, right in the middle of downtown Princeton. The venue itself is lovely, and our guests loved its class and charm. We also wanted a place with top-notch food, and Nassau Inn did not disappoint. Our guests still rave about the food, two months later. Service was excellent. The staff was so accommodating with one-off requests and went above and beyond expectations, which was deeply appreciated! As far as planning went, the team made it as easy as could be, which was an extra plus, since I was wedding planning long-distance while in grad school. We worked with Jamie Wolf during the bulk of the planning process and with Melissa Dill on the day-of. Both were such a pleasure to work with! I want to commend you and your team on an amazing job. So many compliments on the set up, food, servers, etc. I was very impressed how the servers were constantly filling water glasses and asking guests if they would like more wine. Kudos to the chefs. My chicken was so moist, the halibut was excellent, everyone I spoke to that ordered the steak said it was delicious and our 2 vegetarians loved the strudel. You helped make everything for me stress free including helping my friend with her lip. Our guests just raved about everything and hats off to you Ms. Dill.

A Magical Experience!
We had our wedding at the Nassau recently and we can’t say enough good things about the experience. We worked with Toni during the planning and she was there all the way through to the reception. She was absolutely amazing to work with. Any questions I had over the months of planning were answered immediately, everything we wanted or asked for they were able to accommodate, and the entire staff was so friendly and awesome. The terrace made for a beautiful back drop for our ceremony and the Prince William Ballroom for our reception couldn’t have been more perfect. Aside from the lovely hotel and event space, the Yankee Doodle Tap Room was awesome for getting drinks and food, specifically the bartender John who was so fun and nice, and a fantastic bartender. The people at the front desk were great and accommodating as well. Jean-Claude at the bell desk was awesome as well by making sure all of our luggage and wedding items were taken care of without us having to stress about it. I just can’t say enough nice things. If you’re thinking of having a wedding or event at the Nassau Inn, you will not be disappointed. Thank you Toni, and the entire staff for making it such a magical experience!!

Amazing Wedding and Wedding Planning Experience!
Throughout the planning process, Melissa was always available to answer all of our questions. We went with many of the vendors on their recommendation and were grateful for the relationships they already had with the Nassau Inn. This made finding the few vendors we needed (flowers, DJ, hair and make up, photographer, cake) much more stress free. We worked closely with the front desk as well on our room block and they were incredibly responsive and accommodating. The tasting was a great opportunity to talk through the whole event with Melissa and pick the menu. We were really excited about the options the featured local vendors such as the cheese plate from Olsson’s and the volume and quality of what was included in the packages. I am most sad that the wedding is over because I don’t have a reason to talk to Melissa anymore. I couldn’t recommend the Nassau Inn more for any couple. You will save yourself time, stress, money and end up with an amazing event.

A great time had by all!
We had our rehearsal dinner at the Nassau Inn on 9/28/18 and it was the perfect place to celebrate!! The staff was extremely helpful during planning and the event itself. They even had a mic/projector set up for speeches. We loved the historic charm of the Nassau Inn, and it was super convenient for our guests staying there for the wedding. The food was also really good, all of our friends and family enjoyed it and had a great time!

Our wedding at the Nassau Inn was a complete dream. Melissa and her staff were beyond professional and did everything they could to make our day perfect. From the initial tour, to the tastings, to assisting with guest rooms, and finally to the most perfect day we could ask for - the staff at the Nassau was amazing. The food was beyond delicious and there were plenty of options to fit all dietary needs. Would highly recommend over and over again!

They did a fantastic job planning us an event that fit in with our budget and the size we were looking for. Everyone was super professional and the event ran super smooth. We didn't hire a wedding a planner so the Nassau Inn staff functionally took on that role for us and made everything really simple and straight-forward and easy. It was a low stress day and I would highly recommend this venue.

The Event Went Above and Beyond!
The woman working the event went above and beyond to help by making sure the children had special juice containers and putting together child-friendly plates for them as well as helping with packing up at the end of the event. She was excellent.

We loved every minute of our stay!
We live in Canada and received a letter requesting our comments on the event. Instead of sending a letter back, I wanted to include a quick comment: We loved every minute of our stay. For the Friday dinner we hosted, and even if the dinner was catered by a Kosher caterer, the hotel and the room enhanced the whole event. Guests were also impressed with the beauty of the room and the set up of the buffet, tables, etc. Throughout the entire process of dealing with your hotel for both the dinner and the room block reservation, Jaime was wonderful. When coordinating an event from far, we might think that something could go wrong. However, Jaime quickly showed that distance was not a problem when dealing with her and she made sure the event would be as memorable as it was. We always received prompt responses to our comments and questions and found her extremely helpful in the process. read less

"This past Saturday, March 7th, my daughter's baby shower took place at the Nassau Inn. Everything went smoothly. The food was amazing, the room was set up to perfection and looked gorgeous, and not one glitch occurred. The wait staff was attentive and polite. My guests were in awe! My daughter, her mother-in-law, and I were able to enjoy the day because all the details had been seen to. I owe all of this to Melissa Dill. I met her back in November when I was searching for the perfect venue. We had been in touch by phone and had made an appointment, but when I found myself in Princeton before our scheduled meeting, she graciously rearranged her day to fit me in. She showed me the Palmer Room and I was sold! Over the next four months, Melissa and I were frequently in touch by email and sometimes by phone. She was always friendly, gracious, and extremely prompt with email replies.She explained things to me patiently and "talked me down from the ledge" a few times. She did everything she could to ensure that this party would be everything we had hoped for. The day of the party Melissa popped in frequently to be sure things were running smoothly. I know that you have many, bigger parties at the Nassau Inn, but Melissa made me feel as if mine was the only one she had on her calendar. She is an asset to your hotel. I am so happy to have met her and worked with her"

Best work party ever
Dear Mariela, I wanted to take a moment to write to you about one of your team members, Jaime Wolf. As you may know we had our GS1 Holiday party Wednesday night (we had it last year as well). This year I met with Jaime and she gave myself and two colleagues an amazing tasting and upsold the Surf and Turf and Artisan Cheese Station. She took particular care to work with us to make sure we were pleased with the food choices this year and IT WORKED! Additionally, she was an amazing support with all our party changes and room block changes (and there were many). She even stayed late and took the time to write all the meal choices on the back of our table cards because we forgot to do so before we got there. On Thursday, our big VIP boss, Miguel (CEO from Brussels) pulled my US boss, Steve (President) aside and told him it was the best party GS1 has EVER had....My other boss Marianne (also a company President) told me it was the best work party she has ever been too. Feedback from our group, both the Europeans and the Princeton folks, was incredible... and it is often difficult to get both sides of the pond to agree on food since there cooking temps and local foods differ, as I am sure you already know. The food was great, the room was decorated beautifully, the wait staff was attentive and the casino tables were an amazing hit, everyone was yelling and having a blast at the craps table! You have a great team. Thanks again to Nassau Inn for stepping it up this year – it showed! P.S. The waiter that did the tasting (as well as the party) was also fantastic but I can’t recall his name – he was an Asian older man with glasses. Special mention should also go to Stephanie Nichols who did really cute graphics for our table signs for us at the last minute.
Beautiful wedding reception
We wanted to thank you again for the absolutely beautiful wedding reception. We got so many nice comments on the beauty of the inn, the delicious food options and the amazing service. We stayed the night and the rooms were beautiful and so clean and comfortable. We won't hesitate to recommend The Nassau Inn to anyone who asks.

Rustic and Elegant Wedding!
I had the wedding reception in the Palmer & J. Witherspoon room of Nassau Inn. Melissa was my event specialist. I have to say Melissa is a such a wonderful person with wonderful personality. She is easy to communicate, open to change, responses really quickly and efficiently. The whole process for a bride could be very overwhelming but with Melissa's help, things just turn out right and great. Why we chose Nassau Inn: - They offer several packages with many options - The Palmer and Witherspoon are next to each other and the Witherspoon room is perfect size as a dancing room. Could not be better. The decoration is rustic and elegant. Just like a historical spot. - The food of cocktail and dinner is really good!
I love staying at the Nassau when I come to visit my daughter at Princeton. It is so convenient to campus. The staff is always friendly and welcoming. I like that they deliver the WSJ to your room in the morning, and their coffee station in the lobby is nice. The Yankee Doodle is also a cool gathering place.
We got married 9/29/18 at the Nassau Inn and absolutely loved it! We had a smaller wedding (70 guests) which was held in the Palmer Room/Witherspoon/Lounge. The ceremony was outside in front of the red door. Everything about the Nassau Inn is so charming and we just loved the history of it. The space was perfect for an intimate wedding and the service and food was amazing. I have to add that the food tasting was so nice. We had a private room and Melissa was great to work with. She is so on point with everything! We worked with Jaime throughout the process and she was absolutely amazing – so sweet and thorough, always quick to answer any questions. My family and I loved her. Our wedding day we worked with Toni and Nicole and they were both fabulous! Toni was always there to ask if I needed anything and everything went smoothly. The entire staff was so kind, professional and accommodating. There was another wedding on the same day as ours in the ballroom. You would never know because the space was on separate floors so we never ran into them. I would recommend though booking their valet service if your wedding falls on a busy weekend. They had recommended we do that and we regrettably opted out. There was a minor parking issue the day of and while it worked itself out - some guests did end up missing the ceremony (which is totally our own fault). We definitely regret not booking the valet, as it definitely would have been worth it for us. Overall we have zero complaints and couldn’t have picked a better venue. We highly recommend them!!

We really appreciated how flexible and accommodating the staff was in giving us the wedding of our dreams. Jamie listened to us and really made sure that our guests would have an excellent time and that we would have exactly the wedding we wanted. On the day of Melissa was so helpful.

It was so nice to return to the Nassau Inn and at 7am see Elizabeth and Arlene, to have Jim Byrnes, Michael LaCorte and the whole gang from many years ago. It says so much about what a special place the Inn is. As an event planner you know your event will be just fine becasue these people understand the business and know how to do it well - very well. Most of all they care. Good Job- cannot wait to come back. Yes the location is great but it's the staff that really knows the hotel that makes the Nassau Inn.
