Wedding FAQs

Do you have a minimum?

Yes, there is a minimum of 125 guests required in the ballroom on a Saturday evening.  We do not have a minimum in the Palmer room.

What is your maximum number of guests?

The ballroom can accommodate a maximum of 180 guests with a sit down dinner and dancing or 140 with a guests with a buffet and dancing.  The Palmer room can accommodate a maximum of 90 guests (8 tables of 11 and a sweetheart table) with a sit down dinner and dancing in the adjoining Witherspoon room.

Are packages inclusive of tax and gratuity?

No, tax and gratuity are in addition to the package pricing.  The fees are 15% gratuity, 5% taxable service charge and 7% tax.

What are the options for parking?

There are several options for parking.  The first option is if you would like to provide parking passes for your guests coming to the reception and leaving that evening you can provide parking passes at $5.00 to your guests.  The second option is that guests would pay their own charges for parking per hour.  Valet parking is also an option.  Pricing for valet varies depending on the anticipated number of guests expected.  Over-night guests do not partake in valet parking.  If you have a block of rooms at the Inn the parking for these guests is $18.00 per night.

Do you do tastings?

Yes, once a contract is signed we can do a complimentary tasting for up to 6 guests.  Tastings typically occur within 6 months of the wedding.

Do you offer a discounted rate for guests staying at the Inn?

Yes, discounted rates are available with the minimum guarantee of payment for 10 room nights.

Can you accommodate ceremonies?

Yes, we have options to host your ceremony at the Inn.  There is a $350.00 for the ceremony if you are having your reception at the Inn.  If you are only interested in a ceremony the fee is $1,500.

How many weddings can you host at one time?

We are able to host 2 weddings at the same time.  One in the ballroom and one in the Palmer room.

Do you provide centerpieces?

We offer white and ecru floor length linens and matching napkins as well as either 2 taper candles or 4 votive candles to enhance the centerpieces that you provide.

Is the bar and wedding cake included in your packages?

Yes, open bar is included in all of the packages.  The wedding cake is also included in our packages from The Caketeria in Newtown PA.

Do you offer discounts on your package during any months?

Yes, our off-peak months are January – March.  Please inquire for additional information.

Can you accommodate allergies & dietary restrictions?

Yes, when you come in for the tasting we will discuss any guests that may need a special meal.

Do you offer tableside entrée selections?

No, we require a pre-determined count of the guests entrée selections seven working days prior to the wedding.  In addition your place cards will need to be coded denoting the guests entrée selections.

Do you offer children’s meals?

Yes, we have special options for children 12 and under.

How do we handle vendor meals?

You can give vendors turkey club sandwiches at $15.95 each or the same entrée only as the guests at half the package price.

Is there a rental for the space?

If you are selecting one of our wedding packages there is not an additional rental fee.
