"You really can't come to Princeton and NOT stay here! We've been there several times now, and it doesn't disappoint! This is the only hotel I've been to where you feel like you're part of a town because you're staying there, even before you walk outside! Being originally from New Jersey, we go back occasionally and Princeton is a great place to stay for access to all of Jersey, and New York City and Philadelphia...and if you're going to stay in Princeton, this is the place to be!" - Spencer G, Leesburg, VA - 2012
"5 Star Hotel! I just loved my experience. A must for any occasion. I recently stayed at the Nassau Inn after a LONG charity bike ride that spanned 400 miles over 5 days. The Nassau Inn was our last stop before heading home. Once we arrived after a long, tiring day, the staff could not have been more gracious. We were greeted by friendly and helpful staff. They all seemed eager to assist with any request. They even provided a banquet room to store our bikes!" - Sue Jackson, Jackson, MS - 2012
"If you’re traveling for your company in the Princeton area, one of the best things you can do for yourself is check in to the Nassau Inn, which is a Princeton Landmark. The staff goes out of their way to make you comfortable and your every need accommodated. The hotel is located on Palmer Square, the center of Nassau Square where all of the shopping and excitement in Princeton happens, and Princeton University is a short walk right across the street. The Yankee Doodle Tap room and restaurant is a great meeting place for business or casual dining and before theater seating, it boasts a hearty menu and attractive atmosphere. You will not be disappointed with this charming piece of history." - Kim C. Greenport, NY - 2011
"The room was so quiet and the bed was extraordinarily comfortable – Plus the desk staff is always great at helping the many guests that were in town this weekend. One girl at the Front Desk spent so much of her time showing us rooms and talking to us about the hotel. We were so impressed by the Nassau Inn!" - Clarke - 2011
"I would like to express our appreciation to you and the rest of the team for making it a fantastic evening for us and our guests. We had a great time and the guests loved it! Everyone really enjoyed their food and the kids loved the open space in the hallway :) The staff was courteous, professional and timely during the entire duration.Thank you again for an extraordinary evening." "This past Saturday, March 7th, my daughter's baby shower took place at the Nassau Inn. Everything went smoothly. The food was amazing, the room was set up to perfection and looked gorgeous, and not one glitch occurred. The wait staff was attentive and polite. My guests were in awe! My daughter, her mother-in-law, and I were able to enjoy the day because all the details had been seen to. I owe all of this to Melissa Dill. I met her back in November when I was searching for the perfect venue. We had been in touch by phone and had made an appointment, but when I found myself in Princeton before our scheduled meeting, she graciously rearranged her day to fit me in. She showed me the Palmer Room and I was sold! Over the next four months, Melissa and I were frequently in touch by email and sometimes by phone. She was always friendly, gracious, and extremely prompt with email replies. She explained things to me patiently and "talked me down from the ledge" a few times. She did everything she could to ensure that this party would be everything we had hoped for. The day of the party Melissa popped in frequently to be sure things were running smoothly. I know that you have many, bigger parties at the Nassau Inn, but Melissa made me feel as if mine was the only one she had on her calendar. She is an asset to your hotel. I am so happy to have met her and worked with her" Betsy - March 2015
"First off, I wanted to thank you so much for your patience and attentiveness to my family and I during this special time. As you know, when we lost my mother, it was certainly a rough time for us and we definitely still have our good and bad days, but to have a party that came together this wonderfully, truly allowed us all to reflect and celebrate a momentous occasion with love and thankfulness. Your organization and attentiveness to our every need and willingness to go the extra mile was most appreciative. The Christopher Reeve suite was fantastic! We got ready in the room with make-up, hair, and had a little pre-party with our guests. It was lovely! For me, having this space for my family, truly made the event! The Lobby 2 and Nassau room looked great with the decorations, pianist and the food was fantastic! We received so many compliments on how attentive the staff was and how smoothly everything flowed. Natascha was especially wonderful not only overlooking the whole party, but bringing me champagne when I was empty every time! All of our guests could not believe how attentive she was to our party. It made us feel very special. The breakfast was set up so nicely the following Sunday and the food was great. What a nice addition to a long night of partying! The staff in the morning were all smiling and and had remembered us from the night before, which was nice. I cannot say enough about how wonderful this event turned out. I feel very blessed that it worked out so well and that you were so supportive of my wanting to do this for my sister.Thank you, thank you, thank you Jaime!"

"I want to commend you and your team on an amazing job. So many compliments on the set up, food, servers, etc. I was very impressed how the servers were constantly filling water glasses and asking guests if they would like more wine. Kudos to the chefs. My chicken was so moist, the halibut was excellent, everyone I spoke to that ordered the steak said it was delicious and our 2 vegetarians loved the strudel. You helped make everything for me stress free including helping my friend with her lip. Our guests just raved about everything and hats off to you Ms.

“Dear Nassau Inn Staff, I just wanted to let you know that Mike and Tiffany's wedding was amazing. I was with my friends from NY this weekend and that's all we talked about. The hotel, the rooms, the staff and the food at the wedding and the breakfast were all so wonderful. The flower arrangements on the tables were so beautiful but so heavy that we couldn't send them home with the guests, so I asked the wedding staff if we could put them on the tables for breakfast. They refrigerated all of the reception flowers for us and set them up on the tables and around the room for our breakfast. The room looked so beautiful the next morning when we walked in with the sunshine and all the flowers. I didn't know if you knew they did that for us, so please thank them again. I know that Tiffany and Mike could not have been happier and will always have such wonderful memories of their wedding day! Thank you for all you did for us to make their day so perfect!" – Karen, June 2013
“Jamie, I want to thank you and the entire staff of Nassau Inn for the exceptional way that all of you helped us with our very special weekend. From the time I dropped off the gift bags on Wednesday evening through the breakfast buffet on Sunday, we were made to feel as if we were the only hotel guests you had. Everyone was greeted with a welcoming smile and no detail or request was too small to be overlooked. Please pass on to all, our most sincere compliments and thanks.” - Greg, May 2013
"We would like to take this opportunity to thank you and your entire staff for the outstanding job with our Senior Dinner that was held on May 6, 2015. Everything was beautiful and your staff was incredibly professional. The flowers on the table added a very nice touch to the room. Even when we had a very late guest arrive, your staff provided him with service above and beyond. The banquet manger was very professional and easy to work with. Our students felt very special and thoroughly enjoyed the food. We were 100% satisfied with everything from start to finish, thank you for making our dinner a success! We look forward to working with you next year at this time for another senior celebration!"

"55 thumbs up for McCarter and the Nassau Inn! Not one negative comment about the show or the meal! This is a first for me in 15 years of planning motorcoach trips! Thanks, McCarter and Nassau Inn, for making my work easy and rewarding! With over 15 years experience planning group travel, I value highly efficient service, ease of booking, and accommodation of special requests. The McCarter and the Nassau Inn epitomize the best in theatre and dining. Combined they make my job easier: consistently superior productions and beautifully presented meals served with unobtrusive efficiency in a warm and inviting inn – certainly not an easy task when feeding a large group. Princeton is now a favorite destination of my groups because of the cooperation of these landmark establishments; Megan and Jamie are my new heroes!!" Enzo Travel March 2015

Yankee Doodle Tap Room
"On Wednesday, December 1st, I had the pleasure of dining at the Nassau Inn Tap Room with a friend. My first impression upon walking into the Inn was one of warmth and nostalgia. The authentic wide-plank wood floors, red leather wing-armed chairs and white, twinkling lights gave a feeling of history, wisdom and charm. Walking through the doors of the Tap Room, noticing the tables and booths were mostly filled, I was led to a quaint booth with high, distressed wooden backs and an age old, carved in wooden top that must have had years of memories etched onto its surface.
The menu had a wide variety of appetizers, soups and salads, and sandwiches including unique selections such as Brie Lobster, Cranberry Chicken Salad, Butternut Squash Gnocchi and Herb Crusted Tilapia. Our waiter provided polite and professional hospitality highlighting some of the day's lunch specials, which happens to be from where I made my selection. We started off with the fresh mozzarella & ciabatta; egg battered mozzarella and ciabatta pan fried and served on a bed of anchovy tomato sauce. Let me just say there wasn't a trace of sauce left when we finished. Decadent and well seasoned. My lunch was a panini of grilled chicken, artichoke, mozzarella and a creamy pesto sauce. I might suggest that this special be placed in contention for landing a permanent spot on the menu. A superb combination of taste and texture made this sandwich both memorable and worthy of a second visit. I'm already trying to decide whom I should bring back and what I might order.
The overall experience of my visit to the Nassau Inn and its Yankee Doodle Tap Room was wonderful! I'm looking forward to coming back again with other people who have never visited, to share the charm and history as well as the unique culinary delights they prepare.” – Sandra, December 2010
